Test Pages
These pages are ideal when testing paper quality and when
testing your refills.
Papers, Films and Fabrics will vary depending on the manufacture,
type of media and printer settings. We use the palette
test pages religiously to determine what is the best combination
for printing on a variety of media type.
As an example, we have found that on Folex Brand 50# Premium
2 Sided Matte Finish that at higher resolutions (1440dpi)
colors become very dark compared to lower resolutions (720
and lower). In addition to the DPI output changes, we
changes the paper type settings and found that "photo quality
ink jet paper" was the single best setting for the most vibrant
color output.
You may find a variety of combinations that will work better
for you though trial and error. We have included 4 different
test pages in all. The test pages are specific to certain
types of colors and color variations.
The Palette Test Pages are in PDF format. If you do
not have Adobe Reader already installed on your computer system
you may wish to download it from the link located at the bottom
